The AI Native Operating SystemThe AI Native OS

The goal

If you can describe it, it exists.

Lucidos is an open-source AI platform that researches, builds, and runs the apps and automations you need - all organized in one place, on desktop and mobile.

Describe what you want in plain language. A tracker, a dashboard, a weekly report. Or something bigger and more personal: a coach to get you landing a backflip on the trampoline, daily lessons so you can speak your fiancée's language at the wedding. Lucidos builds it and runs it on the spot, right inside your workspace. No installs, no deploys, no separate service to spin up for each thing you make - and everything you build is instantly on your phone too, in the same workspace.

And everything you create becomes part of one connected system. Every interaction helps Lucidos understand you better, every new capability builds on what already exists, and every service you connect becomes securely available to your apps, automations, scripts, and AI agents.

Your life runs on a dozen apps that don't talk to each other.

Notes here, reminders there, a spreadsheet for that, five tabs open to glue it together. Every tool makes you do the work of fitting your life into its shape, and forgets everything the moment you close it. The result is a hundred tiny chores no app was built for, and the mental load of remembering all of them yourself.

Lucidos is the assistant that builds the tools instead of making you find them.

You describe what you need in plain language. It writes the app, sets up the automation, connects the data, and remembers the context, so the software finally adapts to you, not the other way around.

Just talk to it

Describe what you want. Lucidos builds hyper-specialized apps and dashboards on the spot, tailored to you and wired to your real data, local and external. No setup, no app store.

It works while you sleep

Automations run on a schedule or react to events, calling out to your services and APIs on their own, then ping you only when something actually needs you.

It remembers

Long-term memory in a private workspace means it keeps your context across every conversation. You never re-explain.

One brain, every source

Email, external APIs, and your own files plug into a single workspace, and your chats, apps, and automations all share them, so everything works together instead of in silos.

It gets better the more you use it.

Nothing you make is a dead end. Every conversation, app, automation, and connection feeds the same system, so three things compound at once.

Understanding compounds

Every conversation, research thread, app, trigger, and log gives Lucidos more context about you, your goals, your projects, and how you work.

Capabilities compound

Every app, automation, script, workflow, and plugin becomes part of the same platform. The next thing you build starts from everything that already exists.

Connections compound

Every integration you add is available across agents, apps, automations, scripts, and triggers, without duplicating credentials or integration logic.

Connect a service once, and everything you create can use it securely.

Lucidos turns every external service you connect into a reusable capability. Credentials stay inside the engine, never in the apps and scripts that use them, and each integration is exposed through a controlled proxy.

That same connection then works for an AI model working on demand, a script running from a trigger, an automation, a generated app, or a direct proxy API call.

One system instead of a dozen loose ends.

No more disconnected chats, isolated vibe-coded apps, separate coding agents, and automations scattered across five services. Lucidos brings it all together into one persistent system that keeps learning, expanding, and becoming more useful with every interaction.

Getting started

Up and running in a few minutes.

  1. Install Lucidos

    Download for Mac

    or use the one-line installer:

    curl -fsSL https://lucidos.dev/install.sh | sh
  2. Open your workspace

Launch the app and connect your LLM. Bring your own subscription or API key (Claude, OpenAI, and more). Lucidos sets up a private, on-device workspace that's yours alone.

  3. Tell it what you need

Start a conversation. Ask it to track something, build a tool, or automate a routine, and watch it happen.
